Community is about both the Facilities that we enjoy and the Activities that bring us together. Funds accepted for the COMMUNITY category are used to enhance public facilities and activities. In addition to General Funds for this purpose, the following specific Funds are available for donations in any amount:
Walking and Bike Path Design, Construction and Upkeep
Park Improvements and Small Pocket Parks
Art and Museums
Splash Pad Construction and Maintenance
Jim Hogg Park Pavilion Repair and Reconstruction

Education is so important! Funds accepted for the EDUCATION category are used to enhance educational opportunities including scholarships and education grants for students AND educators.
In addition to General Funds for this purpose, the following specific Funds are available for donation:

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
Everyone needs some help getting a leg-up in the job market. Donations to the WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT category are used to enhance the workforce including training, workshops, and employ-ability seminars.
Donations can be made online; include “Workforce Development” in the “add a note” section of the paypal donation page.
WELL BEING-PEOPLE
WELL BEING-PEOPLE
Everyone has tough times, and a great community comes together to help those in need. Donations to the WELL BEING-PEOPLE category are used to help people in times of distress including assistance with medical, food, water, and clothing expenses for temporary relief. General fund donations go toward the Disaster Relief/Benevolence Fund and are used to get folks through tough times. Donations can be made online by choosing "People/Benevolence" from the dropdown list on the donation link.
Also available for donation is the Rotary Eclipse Glasses Project Fund. The Quitman Rotary Club is raising funds to purchase 25,000 pairs of eclipse glasses for the April 8, 2024 total solar eclipse.

Our pets are our family too! And in times of distress animals need as much as their owners do. Donations to the WELL BEING-ANIMALS category are used to promote the well being of animals through temporary relief during times of distress. In addition to General Funds for this purpose the following specific Funds are available for donations in any amount:

Pet Disease Control
Pet Population Control
Pet Medical Care

The Quitman Lake Country Charitable Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving the lives of people and animals of all ages.
Its our mission to promote the general improvement of the Quitman Lake Country and surrounding area by improving quality of life and alleviating the effects of poverty and economic hardship through charitable relief and assistance.
