Innovative programs and equipment can enhance education but are rarely covered by the school budget. Grants from the Quitman ISD Educational Fund help teachers, staff, and students implement these programs and stay on the cutting edge of education.
Development
Grants from the QISD Educational Fund foster the intellectual, emotional, physical, or social development of students whether in the form of increasing the depth and/or variety of subjects or some other form of educational benefit.
Shared Vision
The QISD Educational Fund is designed to bring people together with a shared vision for advancing the excellent educational programs of the Quitman Independent School District, to nurture school improvement, and become an integral part of supplemental learning opportunities.
We Need Your Support
The QISD Educational Fund supports the costs of programs or supplies that are innovative and supplemental to the regular instructional program, and do not supplant costs already budgeted for the school year. It is funded 100% through donations from our community members.
Please support QISD students and staff by donating now and in the future.
Bequests can also be made to the QISD Educational Fund by including the following language in your estate planning "I give, devise and bequeath to Quitman Lake Country Charitable Foundation, a non-profit organization, located in Quitman, Texas, tax id 46-3478615, the sum of (or % of my estate), to be used for the Quitman ISD Educational Fund."
